About Us
The Deaconess Foundation is boldly working for human dignity. Together with Rinnekodit Ltd we provide effective social welfare and health services for people in need of special support. Together we employ 3 400 people nationwide.
Rinnekodit provides effective health and social services for the elderly, for intellectually or otherwise disabled people, for people with addictive disorders and for homeless people, for children and youth, as well as for other people in need of special support.
Values
Our work is guided by a common set of values. We aim to be the most courageous workplace in the industry for people who, in addition to their skills, carry their hearts to work with them. Every one of us works to further human dignity.
Our service is based on the love for neighbour, which transcends the boundaries of service provision.
- We uphold the inalienable dignity of each and every person.
- We defend the human rights of the most vulnerable.
- We create opportunities to live in dignity. These values mean that we interpret love for one’s neighbour from the perspective of human dignity, fairness and community.
